The Global Service Jam is a 48hr event where 40+ service design enthusiasts will work together, share their experiences and learn new methods and tools.

  • What is the Service Jam?

    It is happening again!
On Friday, 20th March 2020, people who are interested in service design and creativity will meet all over the globe for the 8th Global Service Jam. In a spirit of experimentation, co-operation and friendly competition, teams will have 48 hours to develop brand new services inspired by a shared theme. On Sunday, 22nd March, teams will publish their ideas to the world.

    From Idea to Prototype

The Service Jam is a 48 hours creative session in which people with various backgrounds apply user-centered methods to solve problems and generate ideas around services in whatever form they see a need.

    For Users

    Try it, test it

The main idea behind the jam is to exchange knowledge, experience a user-centered design process and to have a great time. The jam does not focus on creating realizable projects that are implemented right after the event.

    Based on Innovative Ideas

New ideas in any shape or form

The great thing about the jam is, that there are no boundaries. Design enthusiasts will be able to apply their methods and tools in a process to make the world a better place.
